I have done a lot of blog posts about the fact that I have worked with the particular family in the photos for years.   My last blog post talked about doing the newborn portraits of a senior I photographed years ago.  I have recently found myself  taking photos of pre-teens that I did newborn photos for.  I LOVE the fact that I get to work with these families over the years and watch these kids grow up... it makes me so warm and fuzzy inside.  But it's also starting to make me feel  old...lol!   Well this family is one of those cases.  I have known them since I was a teenager and they have been with me since the beginning--sessions in my living room with the sofas pushed back, then in my garage that was converted into a makeshift studio and I have also had the chance to work with them several times at my studio...where we have a little more  space to move around.   I feel like part of the family when I work with them.   And I absolutely love their family dynamic...I find myself smiling and laughing so much when I am with them.  This Class of 2017 Senior Portrait session was so much fun.  And I love how Jayla has the perfect combination of smiles and serious/fierce looks!  She definitely rocked it.  We started at my studio for her Cap and Gown, drape and flag team uniform and then stopped by her school for a few extra shots in her flag team uniform before heading to Camp Salmen, one of my favorite outdoor locations in Slidell.  Here are a few of our favorites from her session...I hope you enjoy them!
