What a fun session this was!  Patrick's Senior Portrait session started at our studio with cap and gown, tux and some in his football uniform.  He has played football for Salmen High for the last 4 years...so I was so glad he agreed to do some serious shots in his uniform.  And it was a family affair when we went to do his outdoor shots at Camp Salmen...his mom, dad and sisters all tagged along.  We had a great time and created some great images also.  This is one intelligent young man and I know that he has a bright future ahead of him.  Congrats on your upcoming graduation, Patrick!

Look how precious this little girl is!  I met her sweet parents several years ago when they hired me to photograph their wedding.  I had so much fun working with them.  And when they were blessed with this sweet baby girl 2 years ago, I took her newborn portraits.  So I was so excited to catch up with them again for her session at the studio a few weeks ago.  She is adorable...and she has so much personality!  She started chatting with me as soon as she walked into the studio.  I just love her big smile!  And her soft, sweet smiles are precious too.  Here are a few of mom's favorites.

This is my little boy, who wrapped up his first year of school in May.  I still can't believe how quickly Kindergarten flew by.  It's funny how things work out sometimes. I actually signed the lease at our current location after dropping him off for his very first day of school back in August 2014.  It was a day full of so many emotions.  So here we are, almost a year later, ready for 1st grade.  Time flies!  As the last few weeks of school were winding down, I had an idea...but I just didn't have the time to execute it at the time.  But I am too excited to wait until next spring to share it with everyone.  So for my mommas (and daddies) who are preparing their little ones for Kindergarten like I was last year, I am excited to share that we will be offering a special next spring for Kindergarten Graduation.  I still have to work out the details but we will most likely offer a "Quick Takes" option on a Saturday in May.  So that would be the ability to come in (appointment or walk-in) for a portrait of your graduate and we would choose the one best photo to retouch and print for your package.  Quick Takes packages typically start around $35 (and no session fee).  We will also offer a "Mini Session" option as well.  For the Mini Sessions, we will start with taking photos in the cap and gown and then do some additional portraits in an outfit of your choice.  The Mini Sessions would be by appointment and we are still working on the details for that.  But it's a nice option if you want to commemorate such a special time with some additional portraits.  This special is perfect for homeschooled graduates as well!

And, of course, we will provide the cap and gown for the portraits.

If you want to be sure to know about this special (and a few others that are coming up this fall as well), be sure to keep up with us on Facebook:  https://www.facebook.com/emariephotography1.  And if you want us to add you to our mailing list so you can be sure to know about any upcoming specials, you can sign up by scrolling down to the bottom of the home page of our website:  www.emariephotography.com/home.

I also want to give a HUGE thanks to all of the teachers, administrators, librarians, office staff, counselors, cafeteria staff, custodians and everyone else who works in our schools to teach our babies and keep them safe.  From the team at E.marie Photography, we are wishing everyone a successful, fun and safe school year!

We have another adorable baby girl on the blog this morning!  I had a blast with Sophie for her studio session.  Don't you just love her cheeks?!

Sophie's mom and grandma (who are both amazing teachers, by the way) were there with us for her session.  And she kept us all laughing the whole time!  So much personality...so much sass!

And she is a girl after my own heart...after a few minutes, she kicked off her shoes.  So,of course, I followed suit!  I love the shots of her cute bare feet.

Here are a few of my favorites from her session.

I was so honored when Charlotte's momma asked me to do her 6 months portraits for two reasons.  First and foremost, it is one of my absolute favorite ages to photograph.  But there was a bit of extra excitement for this particular session because Charlotte's mom and I went to school together.  So it was nice catching up with her as well.

I think it is safe to say that we are both planners...so we went in knowing exactly what we wanted out of the Just4Kids Mini Session.  And Charlotte did her part beautifully....so much so that it was hard to choose our favorites!  She is absolutely precious and her personality shined through her portraits.

Our Just4Kids Mini Sessions are such a hit!  For this particular session, we did 2 outfits that they brought in and we even had some extra time to put her into one of the tutus from the collection of fun things here at the studio.  If you are interested in a Just4Kids Mini Session, feel free to contact us today!  We would love the opportunity to work with you.
